lexical verb(也叫 main verb / content verb)指句子中承载主要词汇意义、表达动作/状态/事件的动词,区别于主要表达语法功能的 auxiliary verb(助动词)(如 be, have, do, will 等在助动用法时)。常见的词汇动词包括 run, think, build, eat, know 等。
